Submit a Turnitin Assignment in Moodle

If your teacher has created a Turnitin assignment, it volition be listed as an activeness marked with the Turnitin logo ():

To submit your assignment:

  1. Click the Turnitin assignment. TheMy Submissionspage volition open. (You lot may exist asked to accept the Turnitin license agreement before yous can proceed.)

  5. Some Turnitin assignments have multiple parts. For instance, you may be asked to make a submission, receive comments from your instructor or an originality study, then submit another typhoon of your work, for example, improving your writing, or citations.   6. If your teacher allows, yous may be able to resubmit and overwrite previous submissions until the due date and time. Click Submit paper (Turnitin submission cloud Moodle 3.0) to resubmit.
    Note: Upon resubmission, you may come across a pop-up indicating that Turnitin will require an additional 20 4 hour delay to generate an originality written report.
  7. Once the Mail service appointment for the assignment has been reached, grades and feedback may be made available. For written or audio remarks, under Grade click the pencil icon next to your score (click the pencil to view feedback).

View feedback in Turnitin

Once your work has been assessed your teacher will set a release date and y'all will be able to view feedback. Feedback may include an originality report, text or sound feedback from your teacher, and grades.

The Moodle gradebook displays only your grade for the completed activity; other feedback is accessed through the Turnitin Submissions Inbox.To view feedback in the Submissions Inbox:

  1. From your course's Moodle folio click the link to the Turnitin assignment to open the My Submissions folio.
  2. Your teacher may set up the consignment to allow yous to view an Originality Report after submitting. Under Similarity you lot'll see the percent of text Turnitin constitute a match for and a colored bar (click the % bar for detailed report). Click the colored bar to view the full written report (opens in a new tab or window). Close the browser tab to render to your Submission Inbox.

  4. To view instructor's General feedback click on (General Instructor Feedback icon) located on the right. An Instructor Feedback will appear in this column you may run across instructor's Phonation Comments or Text Comments for your submission.
  5. Depending on the type of feedback your teacher gave, on the feedback studio page you may come across Strike Through Text, Inline comments, QuickMarks or Chimera comments on your submission.
